    So the results of the Association of Property Bankers / now Association of Property Lenders (“the Association”) survey are in. We commissioned the survey to understand whether members were keen on a change of name and to understand the direction our members wished us to take in the current market. Around a quarter of members completed the survey, with Elizabeth Edwards winning £250 of John Lewis vouchers.

    We offer members regular opportunities for further education, networking and socialising.


    Who can join the APL?
    You can join the APL if you are a permanent member of staff employed by a banking group, building society or other financial institution and are currently directly involved in lending to the commercial and/or residential property sectors or are contributing to the lending decisions of your employer (in these sectors) as your main area of responsibility.


    How do I join the APL?
    If you are interested in joining the APL you will need to complete an application form. You can fill in the form online, print it and send it accompanied with payment to the membership secretary, or you can print it and fill it in by hand and then send it with your payment.

  • APL Donates to Future First

    February 2013

    Nigel Chapman and Margot Waddup, on behalf of the Board of the APL were delighted to present Taylor Wessing's chosen charity Future First (www.futurefirst.org.uk) with a cheque for £8,000 representing funds raised at the Association's Annual Fundraising Dinner held in November 2012. LandAid (APL's chosen charity), Village of Hope (CBRE's chosen charity) and Muscular Dystrophy Campaign (McBain's Cooper's chosen charity) will also be presented with a similar sum representing the total of £32,000 raised for the APL and the Dinner Sponsors chosen charities.
